Recyling Dry Flies

There I was...at the Club Mouche just south of France today. I know, I know, I was supposed to be off on a mission to a bad place, but I got a week repreive. You don't want to know. Would be leaving for 1-2 months starting on the followng Monday. Anyway, took a day to go fishing while I was waiting for transpo and details to get sorted out.

Here's the best part. I hooked a big one on an Ugly Fly, and when I landed this monster Rainbow I noticed another fly stuck in his mouth. It was a little wet and yucky but looked servicable. So of course, I plucked it out, dried it off and tied it on!

Took three casts, but I caught a nice little cutthroat within 4 minutes. Incredible.
