Fishing in the Heidelberg Area

The Heidelberg Rod and Gun Club has put together a list of locations and points of contact for the local area.  They include lakes, ponds, and faster water.  

Waldgaststatte Hetschmuhle.  Large lake located between Mainhiem and Kaiserslautern near Wattenheim.  Call 06356-285 for daily permit information.

Forellenzucht and Raucherei.  Small lake open every Sunday from 0700 - 1300 hours in Helligkreuzsteinach 6901.  No license required.  Call 06220-240.

Wolfstein (Lauter).  The local fishing club has water near Wolfstein and sells daily permits for 15 EUROs.  Call 06304-9130.

Dodenau.  Trout Fishing!  But you have to stay in the hotel.  Call 06452-6646 for more information.
